Yes, of course Safety first. Mitchel actually did awesome with his little life jacket. No complaints and lots of smiles.
You had better believe it. I was the first one to catch a fish in our trip. Just thought I'd celebrate with a little fishy kiss.... ummmm not really!
We had this backpack that we filled with all kinds of food/drinks while we went out on the lake. Mitchel dived into the bag, pulled out this apple, found a seat and went to town. He ate all but 2 bites of the apple.
It was COLD and awful for the first couple of days, then we got some sunshine. Sophie & Ike both went with us when we were out on the boat and did awesome. We just thought it was funny when the sun did come out Sophie totally took the girl roll and was SOAKING it up. No tan lines now ladies!
A master catch of one day. That was our best day fishing. It was so beautiful up there too. Mitchel LOVED the fishes. He would sit a talk to them for HOURS if we'd let him. Too bad they had to die.... but they did taste great. Mitchel even thought so.

My lovely hubby caught the biggest fish of all. I know it isn't super big, but we had so much fun. It was everything our family needed. Some time to ourselves. It really was great for all of us... well except we are going to have to work on the sleeping arrangements. Mitchel in the same bed as us just doesn't work. Talk about a beating!

Yes...we do stay home. We just play hard on the weekends...well the ones that Cory has off. And yes we just got a boat. We are SUPER excited and especially excited for this summer. Can I say TUBIN'!

What great memories those pics will make! I think that family time camping is the best family time of all! It is so peaceful and fun. You all looked so happy!
