I got this book of CUTE ideas to do with cupcakes from a friend of mine. Thinking of how fun this will be with Mitchel is older and in school. (You know thinking to be a cool mom)I had showed my friend Ada this book as her two girls have birthdays just days apart from each other for idea's for them. Ya she looked at it, oohed and auhed. Then when I told her she should do it for her girls she just busted up laughing at me.... Now after I did all of these I understand why! So I thought as my gift to her girls (cause I love them so much) I'd let them choose the cupcake design they wanted and make it for them. They both choose dogs. So the older, Brittany, choose 3 different kinds of dogs and needed 17 for her party. The younger, Brandi, choose 2 different kinds and needed 14. Brittany's had to be ready by Friday (my birthday) at 2:30 and Brandi's had to be ready by 1:30 on Saturday. I figured since I didn't want to be doing decorating on my birthday I would do the first 17 on Thursday and just see how it went. Well 3 1/2 hours later (don't do these things if you are a perfectionist) I was done and came to the conclusion they were so ugly I should go out and buy some afraid I'd disappoint the girls. So instead of throwing them out I thought I'd just go to bed (it was 11:30pm) and look at them with rested eyes in the morning. They didn't look that bad in the morning either... So then Friday all I did was make the cupcakes for Saturday.... Saturday morning I started the project at 9:00am and didn't finish until 1:00pm. Things are different with a puppy and a little boy. But I got them done, proud of my accomplishment and they were ABSOLUTELY LOVED by the girls, which made it all worth it.

A few of the parents from the parties kept telling Ada to tell me that I should start a business of doing this. Let me say, it was fun to have the finished product and I would so do this for MY son, ANY neice or nephew and the White girls... but either than that no one would pay what I'd charge! he he

Those are cute! Way to go there Miss Homemaker!
Nice work Lady! They are really cute. I don't think I have the patience for that. But I'm happy for you that you did it.
Those were amazing! The patience that must have taken...Good job Kristen!
