So ladies and gents here is this unbelievable, mouth watering bread!!!
WARNING on my recipe's I really don't follow them, and I don't use exact measuring and I don't use a timer, so that is why I don't share recipes too often, cause I honestly don't know exact except for when I'm doing it. So I hope you are good at the give a take here!! Good luck and ENJOY! I know we LOVE IT!Bread
3 1/2 c. Flour
1/4 c. Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
2 1/2 tsp. Yeast (or 1 packet)1 c. Water
2 Tbs. Butter (softened or melted)
1 Egg beaten
Filling
3 Cream Cheese Bars
1 -1 1/2 c. Jelly of your choice
Glaze4 c. Powdered sugar
2 Tbs. Milk (you want a not thick but not runny glaze)
1 tsp. Vanilla
**I put this in my bread machine and it works awesome! If not, then mix the dry, then the wet, then combine. Let rise once. Punch it down and roll it out as if you were rolling cinnamon buns. Long rectangle shape. Spread the jelly and cream cheese down the center then cut strips along either side. Braid down by alternating strips along the sides. Once batch will make a whole heart or two candy canes. Once I have it all braided I cut it in half then stretch the dough out a little and for the shape I want on the pan. I let it rise once more for about 20 minutes then bake @ 400 'til it's a deep golden brown. I don't know how long cause I never use timers :) he he
I hope you all enjoy!
