so I'll put the answer for all to read! You may be thinking what is the question and it's the one that we get asked by all... even those who know the situation. So let me nicely clarify!
Question: When are you guys going to have more kids???
Answer: We have been blessed with an absolute Miracle. When we adopted Mitchel there were some very scary times where we didn't know if we'd be able to keep this miracle that was placed in our arms. If you have ever had to live 13 months of not knowing if this baby you hold is going to stay your baby or not, then my heart goes to you, if you haven't then you truly have no idea what that pain is like day after day. When I think of a new born I don't think of the sweet smell of a baby. I don't think of the snuggles that they give you. My heart goes to a panic that someone will take this baby from me. That something will go wrong and I'll lose, being left with empty arms. I know many have risked this and still go on. But I know me and I know that I couldn't go on. I HAVE a beautiful little boy and great husband that I have to go on for. That I love with all of my heart and feel SO BLESSED that I do have them. They are a Miracle to me and I don't take it for granted. Plus, if you ask Mitchel if he wants a brother or sister he still insists "NO, I'm happy!" So for us. We are happy. We may have a small family and categorize our dogs as part of it, but we are blessed with what we have and we HAVE a family and I couldn't ask for anything more :D So I hope this answers the ongoing question for our family!

Your family is truly a beautiful one! And, I don't care what anyone ever says, animals classify, too!
You get em, Kristen!! You guys are in charge of your own family and we love you all just the way you are :)
I can always give you my kid ;)
You have a beautiful and wonderful family! It's perfect just the way it is!
A small family is still a family! I always thought we'd have four or five kids, but we only have two. Strangely, no one seems to care here in Maryland, but in Davis people were always giving us a hard time. You guys are beautiful and I love your attitude.
You're not alone. I have another friend that has been through that same roller coaster. My heart breaks hearing the stories. You'll know what is best for your family.
We love you!
Mitchel is most definitely a little miracle, and we love him so much!
We all feel so blessed to know and love Mitchel! He really is a miracle.
Your family is perfect. Happy Mother's day!
