We have been working on Mitchel with not doing repitition prayers at night when it's his turn for family prayer or when he says his prayer before bed. Talking to Mitchel about this can make him aunery with what he agrees too because he wants it to just be him, which is fair where it's his prayer. So we have been talking to him about praying and thanking Heavenly Father for things that make him 'happy'.... this was his prayer tonight!
"Dear Heavenly Father, thanks for this day and that mom can be happy, dad can be happy, mom can be happy, Mitchel will be happy, Sophie can be happy, Degen can be happy. Bless Sophie that she can chase rabbits and be happy and bite the ear. Bless Degen that he can chase guinea pigs. Jesus Christ Amen"
Well I guess we are all happy and the dogs are getting prayers on their behalf (we may have a dog whisper on our hands, watch out Ceaser here comes Mitchel)! Cory and I were giggling so hard, but yet trying to keep a straight face! Guinea pigs??!?! Where did that come from!
