The joy that has touched my soul, you know the place that you hide from everyone around you so it doesn't get hurt anymore....Today Jeannette (our belly bearing angel) had a doc's appointment and had the incredible idea to give me a call so I could hear the little thump, thumps of our little baby boy's heartbeat! I don't think she knows how much this small act meant to me. It was HUGE and from the moment I heard this little heart beat tears of pure joy streamed down my cheeks. Still through out this entire day when I think of what she let me be a part of, of the sound of our little man's beating heart, I can't help the tears the well up and make it hard to write this post... but I don't ever want to forget it! Because we can't bear our own children, there are so many things that I thought I had to just let die, this being one of them and even though my tummy isn't caring this little babe, my heart sincerely is! A scripture has been racing through my mind lately....
Moses 6:34 "Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me."
I feel through this whole Miracle that He has been walking with me, making mountains flee, rivers turn their course, abiding IN me, my gratefulness for Him, for Jeannette for Brennen can't be expressed to the fullest of my heart.

Some may see this picture portrayed to someone who has lost their child.... let me share what I see. I see my precious children that can't reach our arms the way most couples can. Just waiting for that one choice soul that can handle what will be asked of them, that can take the love and responsibility that bringing a life into this world demands. That can see the big picture and feel the gently arms of our Heavenly Father to guide them. I thought our miracle with meeting one of these women was so generous of our Savior. But one thing we learn with our Savior is the tender mercies that he has and the grand plan that is created for us individually.....so count your blessings, but never let the hope die because you never know when He will send a tender mercy.... 'and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me."

Oh jeez, damn being a Witters! I am bawling and can barely see. But that is such an amazing thing and I am so glad she had the thought to call you and let you hear it, amazing amazing woman!!
I am so excited for you, that definitely is such a special moment when you get to hear the heartbeat, so grateful for tender mercies!
Beautiful.
Chantel... I actually bought the bedding from Overstock. I was REALLY nervous to get it because so many of them are just printed on fabric, but this one isn't!! It's even prettier in person. I believe the company is Cotton Tale!
