The following Sunday we had some friends over for a great spring time BBQ, sing Happy Birthday and open some gifts. I must say growing up it was so cool on our birthday because we always had so much family around that when it came to sing 'happy birthday' it was loud and clearly a celebration. Since our family is on the smaller size and we don't have family around us it has seemed to lack the last few years....but this year was awesome! Some great friends, neighbors and people that just love Mitchel sang a 'happy birthday' for him like he's never heard before and it was awesome. The grin on his face was priceless and it made my heart so happy!!! Thank you for belting it out and celebrating our little man!!! It was a great celebration!

The Blow Out!

I decided to do a 'Candy Rainbow Cake' it turned out awesome and tasted fabUlous! I used a Nutella as my 2 of my fillings and then butter cream icing... I'm telling you it was awesome!!
