Due to our Spring Surprise....aka Brennen... our garden didn't get all the attention it needed. Planted about a month late and was forgotten most days due to the beautiful babe inside :) but it did grow despite our great ability to ignore it and we did get a harvest! Now that I'm the mom, I can totally see that my mom having a garden wasn't to just punish us kids, but to build family and work ;) 
At least he's smiling about it all! Now since our family is complete we have GREAT plans of reaping rewards of our garden for next year!!! My goal is to try my hand at canning to!
And well we were reaping in the good, our sweet little spring surprise
was doing his own kind of reaping :)
