We woke up so excited as this was the day Brennen's court date before the judge would be finalized. Everyone was smiles, we had a good day planned of nothing but family activities and the boys were SO happy!! We first headed to the pumpkin patch for our family annual visit.
It was chilly, but it was great as we thought nothing could wreck our day....even the rain that showed it's face when we were happy and pickin' pumpkins!
......then we got home and there was emails, about 6 missed calls and texts. Our court date was cancelled. I have to admit, my heart sunk, tears poured and the fear of Mitchel's adoption filled my mind. There was some paper work that this 'new' judge didn't like and so she pushed our date to a later date giving our lawyer time to sort it all out. We cried, we spent the rest of the day eating crap food and we kept our fingers crossed for the next date to come & held both our boys a little tighter!
