You know you have an "INNER" REDNECK when...

...the Elementary school you went to growing up was on a "dirt" road and had a "dirt" parking lot.
.....when you realized that this is the coat area for your entire school...K-grade 7. ......when you had a skidder donated for your play ground.

....when you go into "town" for different sports activities and you get referred to by everyone as a "Mapes Ape".

....when you can't play on the playground at recess because there is a bear playing on it for you.

....when your "hot lunch" was only on Fridays and it consisted of hot dogs & a popsicle, grand total of $1.50.

.....when you had to ride the bus for 1h 45minutes to go into town to play town league baseball.

....when your WHOLE school consisted of 10 rooms including, classrooms, gym, library, office, teachers lounge, kitchen & computer room in a K-grade 7 school.

Okay I have to stop. I am killing myself here. If you aren't laughing then you are crazy. But this is seriously NO exaggeration.

I know,I do try to repress my inner redneck and give Cory a hard time about being a redneck but you see before this he didn't know of it...now there are no secrets. So this is the school that I went to as a kid. It was seriously awesome.

Those tree's you see behind the kids here...There was some AWESOME trails back there that we always ventured on....well except for the times when the bears were close.

It was neat letting Mitchel play on the playground that I grew up playing on. Took a little convincing to go down this slide though...I think the metal was intimidating, you see he's used to plastic, uh city boy! he he
