About 2 months ago, Cory signed us up to feed the Elders in our Ward. Well now we see them at least 2 to 3 times a week. Our house has become the stopping point to empty bladders, grab a drink or granola bar or have a little spiritual chat.... it really has been neat.

Funny story, Cory and Elder Seamintal have a as I call it a "male bonding relationship" it's quite cute in the manly way. Elder Seamintal is the short one in the yellow. Anyway the first day he came to our house he was terrified of Cory. He said all he could think is 'Why on earth would his companion bring him here.' Cory was totally his norm self. Shook his hand squeezed a little tighter I'm sure and well didn't smile. So Elder Seamintal said he just kept telling himself that he had to come up with something great for his thought or he could just picture Cory grabbing him by the scruff of his neck and tossing him out the door.... he said he felt a little pressured. Now when he was telling us this we were all laughing so hard and now these two, well like I said at the beginning they share a "male bonding relationship."

It has brought some neat blessings/opportunities for our family. Our neighbor across the road has had some hard times and well the boys got together and mowed her lawn. I must say it has been awesome having their spirit in our house throughout the week. Mitchel even knows when he sees them coming to run and turn off the TV! Thank the Heavens for these worthy men that take upon them Christs name and aren't afraid to do the work that our Savior has asked of them!

That made me laugh out loud! Cory so freakin tall no wonder those poor Elders were scared to death! Good thing he's nothin but a teddy bear inside :) We miss you guys!
Cory! That cracks me up! If only they knew that you spent most of your life getting beat up by your sister! :) I know that once they know you, they can't help but love you, just like the rest of us! Can't wait to see you all!
