Time to put those "Fishing Skills" to work!

So we had a Saturday off and decided that we really needed to take our backyard fisherman fishing for real! So Cory got online and found a pond/farm that stocks their fish pond and figured we have some good luck there. And to mention Mitchel has SO been into farms lately. Every time we pass a farm Mitchel says "Momma, PEESE you buy me farm!" It's priceless and well is never going to happen. But he keeps trying!
Anyway so Cory found Jim's U-fish @ Old McDebbie's Farm! It was awesome!
Hat-check
Socks- check (those are important to him)
Fishing pole with Red rubber fish-check
Juice- check
This is STANLEY the camel! Very nice, doesn't spit and stinks to high heaven!
This was an awesome pony ride. They actually walk around the property instead of just circle after circle! Mitchel was beyond himself. He was so ADAMANT on riding that hose BEFORE he fished... surprised me!
Isn't this the truth most of the time!?
It's official folks, we now have a little fisherman!
2nd cast out and look what happened!
First fish... Not too sure who is more excited or focused....Dad or Mitchel!
It took us a few minutes to convince him to touch the fish.... even though he's touched MANY fishes in his life!
Floppin' fish and the happy dance !
He ended up catching 4 fish in about 1/2 h. He couldn't leave their side! He knew once he caught the fish dad would get it off the hook and his job was to bring the bucket to dad. He was very serious about it too.... well after he would do the 'Happy caught a Fish Dance'!
This was my invention on how I could get him to bring a worm to dad. He for some reason would NOT touch the worms that day, so I came up with this and well...... it worked!
Ahhhh, two of my awesome boys in a boys heaven!
Mitchel LOVED these little ponies and they were so sweet. The farm had all kinds of fun all around that kids could actually touch. It was awesome. There were bunnies, kitties, baby mini goats, baby Emu's, baby lama's and a pond hog full of HUGE tad poles! It was a five star visit from us!
Cory HATES Lama's, but we both agreed that this is truly the only time they are cute!

Mitchel is totally his daddy's boy with the farm thing and fishing! Sounds like that is an awesome farm, with all the rides and fishing too! Fun fun!
