INSIDE PROJECT:
This HORRID fan was in the house when we bought it.... I kept telling myself that I could live with it's awful ugliness until next year but I couldn't shut my mind off of how I can make it tolerable 'til we could change it. Then I got an idea. Before...
After....I bought the metallic paint you can get at Michael's and painted the whole thing, blades and all. Ahhhh now I can handle it 'til next year!

Ahhhh now I can handle it 'til next year!OUTSIDE PROJECT We weren't going to do lights outside this year just because we didn't want to spend the $ on lights. While as I was going through my Christmas bin's I noticed I had lights. So I toyed with the idea for a while never saying anything to Cory, until yesterday I couldn't resist the urge, especially this being our FIRST home and all!
So UP the ladder I went and this is what we got!
Ahhh much better!

I love that smiling face of Mitchels! And what fun projects, everything looks great!
I like your hair! And your Christmas tree and lights look beautiful.
You sound like me last year, I was adamant that we have light on our house the first year. I made Aaron do it even in the snow. I love seeing all the fun changes!
Cute, cute, cute, and cute. Now you just need snow. :)
I literally gasped in shock/horror at the "before" of your ceiling fan. I've seen a lot of ugly light fixtures, but that one was really special! LOL! I don't even think you need to replace it now! You did such a great job pretti-fying it!! WAY TO GO! And you look so totally hot as a black-haired vixen!
All very cute!!
Love love love the fan! You are a genious! Your house looks very festive...maybe you can get Cory to help you take them down :)
