We were walking through Michael's in search of a new craft to do (which I found and will post later), but Mitchel found one of his own. He was so excited!!!! He grabbed this Derby Race car and begged me to get it. This is coming from a little boy that will NOT do crafts with me at all. So of course I grabbed it, but added the stipulation that he and his 'daddy' were doing this together. As soon as we got to the car he requested we go and show dad their new found project! We've been trying to get him to sleep without a pull-up so that night Cory told him if he didn't pee his pull-up that they'd do his car! The next morning he came into our room so happy to tell his daddy that he succeeded... to find no daddy at home. So sadly he called Cory and said "Dad, I didn't pee, so your supposed to be home to make my race car!" Cory felt so bad, but reassured Mitchel that when he got home they would start!
Day 1: Uncontrollable grinning/giggling...followed by sanding and a couple coats of paint!

Day 2: Couple more coats of paint and design!
Day 3: Project finished...followed by more giggles/grins! 
I have found this car everywhere... his bed, my bed, with the dogs, on the trampoline and a favorite, propped up on his cheerios bowl having breakie :)

What a cool looking car! Reese is getting ready to start his first pinewood derby car! Him and Tom are also very excited!
