The last of January...

This month has been SOOOOOO long to me, but yaaa it's finally done. Good reddens and sorry January, but you will not be missed! We did have a fun month, but it's been really, really slow for Cory and work.....making him work longer hours and sending everyone else home. So Mitchel and I have had LOTS of time together and we have been getting pretty creative too!Mitchel LOVES these donuts! Right after eating them he escapes to the mirror in a bathroom and laughs about how silly he looks! It totally is a crack up to see him laughing so hard. But this time sleep attacked before he could finish his attack..... and this is the day the fever began. Poor little guy you can see his rosy cheeks. It was crazy, the poor little guy had 3 days of high fever. I could always tell when the Tynole wore off as his fever would spike. Since we can't all fit into our bed and have all 3 of us sleep (and I couldn't risk him puking on our bed). I had Cory bring the spare bed mattress into the living room and Mitchel and I watched moves, slept a little and chilled out there. Besides the fever he thought this was SOOO AWESOME. He kept rubbing my cheek that night saying "Tanks mama, dis is the best! Tanks mama!" With those words I may as well just leave the mattress out there! he he Fever gone and back to helping me! I LOVE my little cleaning companion! So funny, about 4 night ago I woke up around 6:30ish to hearing the garage door open and close. Totally alarmed that I heard that door I got up and was checking everything out to see who was here. I couldn't find Mitchel and then heard some giggling outside my bedroom window. Headed out and here's our boy. Jumping his little heart out, but his hands got cold and so he went and got his nice soft mittens and presumed the fun! Totally my ray of light these days :)

Love that last photo! So cute. He and Soren would really like each other, I think. Can you believe they're turning FIVE? Holy cow.

You have such a cute kid! I get such a laugh out of the stuff he does. And I agree - so glad January is outta here!!

It is always so sad when your kids are sick. Although... I have to say I secretly enjoy the quiet time this brings! Glad Mitchel is back to feeling bouncy!

Sounds like Mitchel is a busy boy! 6:30? He must get that from his dad! :)
I'm glad January is over too. Now on to February!
