Sometimes throwing in the white flag is easiest!!

Mitchel has just been cracking us up lately! This has been the conversation for us for the past month on our way to school (we pass a park full of Canadian Geese)

Mitchel: Mom there's goose!
Me: Mitchel it's geese.
Mitchel: No mom it's goose. There out there laying eggs!
Me: Honey, when there is more than one goose.... like one, two three, then they are called geese. And it's too cold for them to be laying eggs they are just resting.
Mitchel: Oh so it's goose geese and they ARE to laying baby eggs!
Me: No it's just geese and it's too cold to lay eggs the babies would freeze.
Mitchel: It's goose geese and you don't know!

Me (throwing in white flag mentioned in title): You got it Mitchel they are goose geese and they are laying eggs..
Mitchel: See told you! I know!

So then this past Sunday we are headed to church as a fmaily and Mitchel pipes up to his dad...
Mitchel: Dad look at the goose geese!
Cory then goes on to explain for 10 MINUTES... talk about determination on his behalf ( I started giggling and looked out the window from the first mention of goose geese), all to throw in the same white flag that has been mention twice before and to end with...
Mitchel: See told you! I know!

Still makes me laugh and shake my head! I guess this is another one of those that we will tackle later......
