My two FAVORITE BOYS.....
He heard the camera flash after the first picture...and when he hears that he has to do this exact grin and say "CHEESE"
The older Mitchel gets and the more we see his personality I see where the saying comes into play "Like Father, Like Son." Both of my boys...Cory's the other here...have this excitement when it comes to fire. Cory has had this for a while and I've heard stories of him in his younger years almost burning down the garage and other instances. Well nice to report that Mitchel loves fire too. Luckily too little to start any on his own, but is by his dad's side whenever he sees one going to be made!
In our new home we have a wood fire place that Cory will find ANY reason to light a fire and keep it going. So Mitchel knows when daddy has the itch and will head outside to grab the fire wood. Mitchel's favorite is the kindling sticks...he has another weird "boy" excitement with sticks! Anyway he helps dad bring in wood, even knows where to put it once inside. Will wait for Cory to put the paper underneath the kindling and then they both take position when he sees the matches.....then comes the best part the flame!! We'll even find him just sitting there staring into the fire for minutes on end. Pretty cute, but makes me a little nervous. I can tell I'm going to have to do "FIRE SAFETY" lesson's a couple time with both my boys!

Hi... I have a random question for you. Are you Ashley Witters Wall's sister-in-law? I was looking at my friend Cheryl Nilsson's blog today (seems she's your friend too...) and was reading the comments on her latest post about Jaden, and there was one from "kwit" with an email address as "ckwitters@gmail.com" and it caught my eye, 'cause whenever Ashley sends pictures of Adi, that's always an address that's being sent to too, and Witters isn't that common of a last name, is it? I haven't ever heard it before she started dating my brother. Anyway, I was curious, so I clicked on your name, and I absolutely 100% believe that you are Ashley's sister, 'cause she has a brother named Cory and they just adopted a little boy named Mitchel (I have a four-year-old named Mitchell, so it was easy to remember), and is your name Kristen? Am I remembering that much right? 'Cause my name's Kirsten... Did we meet at their wedding? Did you come with Ashley's mom and sisters to my parents' house to help with decorations before Ash's wedding? These pictures are great we are fire bugs over here to but must do it with candles.
