Goofiness

My intelligent husband always has a "new" way of looking at things. You know a normal person would see a rubber snake and if not terrified of it would make the hissing sounds, maybe wiggle it around and if super humorous maybe chase a person or two. Nope my husband thinks it great to teach our son to put an end in his mouth while he has an end and to play tug-a-war until one of them looses grip with their teeth. I know, what did I tell you HIGHLY intelligent, and they both LOVE it.

Last year when I bought Mitchel "Gum Boots" it was a terrifying dilemma in our lives on the days he had to wear the boots. I am not kidding you it was about a 15 minute war with getting him to be okay in his boots. So this year when I had to get him boots for our Alaska trip I was totally dreading the day that I had to open war again with this boy and articles we put on his feet. I decided to just pack them and open war ONLY if needed when we get to Alaska. While I had put them in the bag being packed and he found them in there. All of a sudden I hear some weird footsteps in our house. I got looking around and find Mitchel in his BOOTS... WHAT! He was all grins and wore them for 4 HOURS....yes 4 HOURS. He loves them! Call the Nuclear bombs off we are SAFE!
This is what kind of a Taxi you get at our house when you whistle!
We had a movie night at our house and since we don't have a TV in our room, we had to use the little one. So we crashed all the kids in our room to watch a show while the mom's & dad's watched their show. It was great and the kids LOVED it!! Mitchel was so thrilled to be in our bed... Cute kiddies :)

I love the snake! I think Cory used to play that same game with our old dog Renny! Some habits die hard I guess... and it is nice to see traditions passed on! :)
